Replacement for the Return ↵ key of the Apple MacBook Magic Keyboard, available as a single keycap, a single scissor mechanism, or as a set of keycap and scissor mechanism.

Original Apple part, carefully removed from a MacBook keyboard, cleaned, and tested for functionality. Compatible with MacBook Air & Pro 2019–2026.

Which version do I need?

• Keycap Only – keycap only: Choose this version if the underlying scissor mechanism is still intact and snaps into place correctly.
• Scissor Switch Only – scissor mechanism only: The mechanism under the keycap. Choose this version if the keycap is fine, but the key feels loose, wobbles, or can no longer be clipped in.
• Keycap + Switch – keycap with scissor mechanism: The complete unit. The safest choice if the key is completely missing or you are not sure which part is damaged.

Keyboard layout

ISO layout – suitable for German (QWERTZ) and British keyboards. ISO keys differ in shape from US ANSI keys. Therefore, compare the key with your own keyboard before ordering.

Installation

No tools or soldering required. The keycap clips onto the scissor mechanism; the mechanism snaps into the metal holder on the keyboard plate. Press evenly until you hear a soft click, then test the key.

Please note: Apple uses different key markings depending on the keyboard layout. Before ordering, compare the product photo with the key on your MacBook in terms of marking, size, and shape. Slight color variations may occur between production batches.
